How often do you talk to your clients? I mean talk - call - not email?
I was walking home from work on Friday and I had this thought because I saw a restaurant that I knew one of my friends would really like and so I called him and let him know. I knew if I kept walking and tried to remember to tell him later that the thought might get lost amid the noise and haste of everything going on. A quick and simple phone call.
So often, we get lost in the day-to-day flow of work. Sometimes we email our clients about something - which is good - but...email communications have no real voice. It seems easier and faster, and it is sometimes, but it can also be less personal.
